Hello everyone, I have never tried this but I am hoping that I can just clean up some pea gravel and use that in my aquariums. Thank you for your suggestions that are not kitty litter.

The bags of sand at the hardware store are labeled as possible carcinogens, and the "safe play sand" online is either insanely expensive, or creepily and brightly colored.
I can buy special sand that is more expensive, or I can buy pea gravel.
