You get a solid frame (aluminum vs heavy steel found in comparable cheapo bikes,) decent components (Shimano vs. generic), and proper 4 inch Kenda fat tires (tire width and quality have a huge impact on a fat bike's ride quality.) My only problem with their Orbit 1.5 to 1-1/8 reducer is, the pics show 26 ball bearings. General conclusion is that the Northrock XC00 is a lot of bike for relatively little money.
