2019 4th Quarter Report Confirms a Clear Trend in More Trees Being Cut as DDH or Illegally Destroyed
There has been a 10% increase in total tree loss in the first two quarters of FY 2020 (3rd & 4th quarters 2019) compared to FY 2019 due to a greater number of trees being permitted as DDH or being illegally destroyed. Conversely, approximately the same number of healthy trees were removed with a permit in the 4th quarter of 2019 as in the 3rd quarter.
